Welcome to the South Miami & Homestead Corridor Licensee Page
The South Miami & Homestead Corridor Regional License territory is currently available, creating an opportunity for an entrepreneur to develop Local Shouty across Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Homestead, and Florida City.
Few Miami territories combine this range of markets. The corridor includes established residential communities, restaurants and retail, healthcare and professional services, real estate and construction, agriculture, expanding commercial districts, outdoor recreation, and businesses serving visitors traveling toward the Everglades, Biscayne National Park, and the Florida Keys.
The Regional Licensee builds recurring relationships with local businesses, helps companies create free Local Shouty profiles, explains subscription advertising, recruits creators, and develops partnerships throughout the territory.
South Miami-Dade also has an organized economic-development network focused specifically on business growth, investment, employment, and entrepreneurship across the region.
Business results and earnings are not guaranteed and depend on consistent outreach, business participation, creator-network development, and territory growth.
The communities in this territory create a progression from established suburban commerce to the agricultural and tourism economy of southern Miami-Dade County.
Pinecrest combines high-quality residential neighborhoods with a strong office, restaurant, retail, and professional-services environment. The Village maintains an extensive local business directory and describes its office and retail market conditions as strong. Pinecrest Gardens also provides a recognizable cultural and recreational anchor for community events and local discovery.
Palmetto Bay adds established residential neighborhoods, local businesses, redevelopment activity, and access to Biscayne Bay. The Village continues to track downtown redevelopment and other major development projects. The Deering Estate, located in Palmetto Bay, adds history, environmental education, cultural programming, recreation, and events to the local visitor market.
Cutler Bay is experiencing significant commercial and residential change. The redevelopment of the former Southland Mall property into Southplace City Center is adding a new mix of housing, retail, dining, entertainment, healthcare, hotel, and public-space uses. The Town also actively connects entrepreneurs and business owners with local business organizations and small-business resources.
Farther south, Homestead and Florida City connect the territory with agriculture, tourism, historic Downtown Homestead, local retail and services, and the gateway to some of South Florida’s most important natural attractions.
Customers throughout this territory routinely move between communities.
A Pinecrest healthcare practice can attract patients from Palmetto Bay. A Cutler Bay contractor may work throughout southern Miami-Dade. A Homestead restaurant can serve residents, agricultural workers, national-park visitors, and travelers heading south, while Florida City businesses can serve both local households and regional traffic.
Local Shouty gives these businesses another way to improve visibility through free business profiles, category-based discovery, subscription advertising, and approved creator content.
The business mix can include restaurants and cafés, healthcare and wellness, professional services, retailers, real estate, construction, contractors and home services, automotive businesses, agriculture and agritourism, recreation, hospitality, and community organizations.
Agriculture is particularly important in southern Miami-Dade. Miami-Dade County reports that it ranks first nationally in ornamental-plant production and second in Florida for overall farm-production value, while county programs actively promote South Dade farms and related businesses.
Homestead also has a distinctive tourism position. The National Park Service recognizes it as a gateway community for both Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, connecting local businesses with visitors seeking outdoor and ecological experiences.
Established Residential Commerce
Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay support restaurants, healthcare, professional services, real estate, retail, and household-service businesses.
Major Redevelopment Activity
Cutler Bay’s evolving commercial centers and Homestead’s Downtown redevelopment create new opportunities for local business discovery.
Agriculture & Local Food Economy
South Dade’s farms, nurseries, growers, food businesses, and agritourism experiences distinguish this territory from Miami’s urban core.
National Parks & South Florida Gateway
Homestead and Florida City connect residents and visitors with Everglades and Biscayne National Parks and the southern travel corridor.
The Regional Licensee develops Local Shouty through direct, ongoing relationships with businesses and community organizations.
Responsibilities include business onboarding, helping businesses establish free profiles, explaining subscription advertising, improving category selection, providing ongoing support, recruiting creators, networking with Chambers and business organizations, participating in events, developing sponsorship opportunities, building partnerships, and increasing platform awareness.
The territory allows those relationships to be developed differently by community: professional and consumer businesses in Pinecrest, neighborhood businesses and organizations in Palmetto Bay, growing commercial opportunities in Cutler Bay, and agriculture, tourism, restaurants, services, and Downtown businesses around Homestead and Florida City.
Homestead’s economic-development strategy specifically emphasizes small-business creation, tourism, international commerce, and connecting entrepreneurs with development opportunities. Florida City’s Community Redevelopment Agency also provides economic-development and business-retention assistance within its redevelopment district.
The Regional Licensee represents Local Shouty within the approved territory but does not hold governmental authority over Miami-Dade County or any municipality or community.
For Local Businesses
Businesses can create a free Local Shouty business profile and may choose subscription advertising for additional visibility.
Businesses can participate in multiple appropriate categories, work with approved creators, and develop an ongoing relationship with the Regional Licensee.
That could include a Pinecrest restaurant, Palmetto Bay healthcare practice, Cutler Bay contractor, Homestead retailer, Florida City automotive business, real estate professional, agricultural business, nursery, or tourism-related company.
For Local Creators
Approved creators can earn money for approved content featuring Pinecrest restaurants and community destinations, Palmetto Bay businesses and Deering Estate experiences, Cutler Bay shopping and redevelopment, Downtown Homestead restaurants and events, South Dade farms, local food, outdoor recreation, and businesses serving visitors heading toward the national parks.
Homestead’s ongoing Downtown revitalization also creates opportunities for creators to highlight locally owned restaurants, public spaces, cultural events, and businesses as the district evolves.
Businesses → Creators → Users → Business Growth
Businesses create free profiles and may purchase subscription advertising.
Creators produce approved content featuring local businesses, restaurants, services, attractions, events, farms, and experiences.
Users discover businesses based on their location, interests, and relevant categories.
Business Growth is supported when stronger visibility and community engagement help participating businesses develop customer relationships.
The Regional Licensee helps sustain the cycle by recruiting businesses, supporting advertisers, building the creator network, developing local partnerships, and encouraging participation throughout the corridor.
